Join us for this special Emergent Sound for Resonant Bodies offering in Warrandyte. You are invited to wander through the trees, engaging with the landscape before landing at ‘high noon’; a beautiful Alistair Knox home, to experience an hour long improvised, collaborative soundscape between five musicians collectively responding to the setting sun and changing light. You are invited to engage in meditation, rest, creative exploration, movement or anything that serves your needs in the moment.
Emergent Sounds for Resonant Bodies practices with relaxed facilitation. Resonant Bodies is an inherently therapeutic practice, but please note; this is not a therapeutic space. You are invited tend to your changing needs throughout the event and treat the space as your own to allow curiosity and a self-guided practice that serves your individual needs.
Making materials, blankets, pillows and tea are provided.

Location
high noon is a beautiful home in Warrandyte designed by Alistair Knox. The property sits on 5 acres of semi-rural bush with its own dam, tennis courts and pool. A perfect balance of accessibility and solitude, High Noon is only 20km from the inner-north; when you arrive at property, you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking view of the city through the tall limbs of gumtrees, as the house sits beside you quietly in the landscape.

Land
Make your way into the house, where you can place down your belongings and help yourself to a cup of tea. You will receive an invitational engagement practice prior to the soundscape; this is a simple self-guided practice to orient yourself in these new surroundings. An invitation for our nervous systems to rest with us, and connect with our living landscape. You may instead choose to stay at the house, or take yourself on a self guided walk.

Arrive back in the house, introduction and invitation to gather materials.
